In March 2025 the church held a Trash & Treasure market to help raise funds to help restore a Lutheran Church in Nigeria which one of our congregation members, Asa, is from.

Before Works Begun
7 May 2025 – Start of the Roof Restoration
Work is currently being done to repair the roof of the Church in Asa’s home Village in Nigeria.
Asa will forward more photos as the work progresses and remembers you all with a thankful heart.
22 May 2025 – Roof Restoration continued
13 June 2025 – Roof Restoration Complete
We have finished the roofing repairs. To God be the Glory.
My people at the church were very happy with what you all have done for us and they send their regards and prayers and thanks.
My congregation over here has been praying for each and everyone of you.

New Motorbike
A while ago the members of Grace gave generously towards the purchase of a new motorcycle for the Evangelist at Asa’s Church in Nigeria.
Asa writes “Yes, we have finally bought a Motorcycle after a long market survey. I’m happy and all my members are happy for the motorcycle and you are a miracle to us. We see you as our miracle.

Message from Asa – October 2025
This is a recent message from Asa ( Nigeria). She writes … The Motorcycle is doing very OK. The whole Diocese was happy and grateful.
Our National Arch Bishop came over and blessed the Motorcycle and Roofing. We have added about six members since the roofing was fixed.
All those who are on the pictures are members in the Village.
I will take pictures of my full circuit members for you all to see.
Indeed our God is a good God!

Letters From Nigeria
November Update
Here is a photo of the new Church sign bought from leftover funds after the purchase of the Motorcycle. This sign is in Asa’s Village outside the Church the roof of which we helped repair.
This Church building is also Headquarters of the Church Circuit which includes another six Villages.
Asa overseers these other churches. One of the Villages is currently constructing a new church building after the other one collapsed. Now they can worship under shelter instead of outdoors in the sun and are working hard to cover the costs of the new building. Asa sends her regards and remembers us and our Congregation in her prayers with thanks to God for our support and prayers.
