School Chaplaincy
In November 2015, three like-minded individuals happened upon one another at a local Chaplaincy Breakfast. Thanks to Janice Millar, a member of the Local Chaplaincy Committee (LCC) for Woody Point Special School and Redcliffe Special School and Pastor Mark Brinkmann and Desley Dyer from Grace Lutheran Church, we now have a wonderful opportunity to partner together in supporting School Chaplaincy.

Unfortunately, soon after this meeting, Tilla, who was the School Chaplain, resigned. It was a challenging year for the school community but all good things come to those who pray and at the end of 2016, Alan Gater was employed to replace Tilla. A year had passed since that first meeting between Janice, Pastor Mark and Desley, but now a new era had begun.
Our first joint venture was to support the teachers and staff at the school by hosting a very special Staff Appreciation Morning Tea in November. Members of the Grace Care Team provided some delicious food while two members of the Congregation provided some ‘magic’ neck massages.
